With fall comes a lot of pumpkins! Pumpkins are loaded with beta-carotene which is turned into vitamin A. Vitamin A is a necessity when it comes to new cell growth of the skin. With pumpkin everything this time of the year, it shouldn’t be too hard to incorporate this powerhouse food into your diet.

There are so, so, so many varieties of apples in the fall and countless ways to prepare them so make sure to add this food into your diet on a daily basis. Apples are loaded with fiber and contain antioxidants. Most of the nutrition is found in the skin so make sure to eat that part, too!
FLAX SEEDS
You can get flax seeds all throughout the year but they are a great addition to the diet of the person who is looking to boost the health of their skin. Omega 3 fatty acids are found in great amounts in flax seeds and also in salmon. Omega 3’s are great at retaining moisture so sneak in flax seeds or serve salmon for dinner every chance you get!
